I. Foundational Creeds

Hill City Fellowship of the Arts is a non-denominational Christian organization rooted in the historical orthodoxies of the Christian faith. We formally adopt and affirm the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as the essential expressions of our shared faith.

II. Core Tenets

Beyond these historic creeds, we affirm the following principles as the basis for our fellowship and artistic work:

  • The Holy Scriptures: We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  • The Trinity: We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • The Lord Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  • Salvation and Regeneration: We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely essential.

  • Ministry of the Holy Spirit: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

  • The Resurrection: We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they who are saved unto the resurrection of life and they who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

  • The Unity of the Body: We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, transcending denominational boundaries, and that we are called to labor together as one body.

  • The Arts and the Creator: We believe that God is the supreme Artist and the source of all beauty. Human creativity is a gift from God, intended to reflect His character, serve our neighbors, and bring glory to His name.
