The Symphonic Band’s first season is in the concept phase

The HCFA has been constructed from the ground up to be very different from “normal” community ensembles. In order to reduce burnout, our process for starting a season emphasizes early planning.

I was thrilled to observe the first official meeting of the Symphonic Band’s production team as they scoped out their first concert. There are obstacles, to be sure. There is work to do and courage to be found. I am confident, however, that the God of Ages will empower this crew to find the resolve to get this first concert off the ground.

Prayers would be appreciated for these brave souls who are treading new ground. May God make their paths straight. They are seeking a rehearsal venue as they try to understand the HCFA’s “new way” of opening doors to musicians.

Let’s go ahead and pray for those musicians, too, while we are at it. I do not know who they are yet, but God does.
